Five skilled trades — electrician, welder, plumber, fitter and carpenter — currently have 173 active listings with a stated salary, and only 20 of them are in Vilnius. This is the inverse of the office professions, whose offers cluster in the capital: these trades are sought in thirteen Lithuanian cities, and the most generous listings are in the port city.
Pooling all five trades, the median advertised salary is €2,000 gross, with the middle half of offers falling between €1,650 and €2,442. Between the trades themselves the medians line up like this:

Every row of the table rests on a broad base: the median is computed not only from active listings but also from recently expired ones, so each trade stands on roughly 58 to 154 offers. These rows do not move with a few new listings — unlike the tables of rarer office roles.
€450 from carpenter to electrician
At the top sit two nearly equal trades: the electrician and welder medians are just €50 apart. Their offer bands are similar too: the middle half of salaries offered to electricians falls between €1,800 and €2,479, and to welders between €1,849 and €2,520. The welder band reaches the highest of all five.
The plumber sits a step behind: a median of €1,930, but a wide band from €1,600 to €2,400, so the most expensive plumber offers catch up with the electricians. Fitter offers, by contrast, cluster in the narrowest range of all — €1,600 to €2,046. The lowest median belongs to the carpenter: €1,700, with a band starting at €1,454 — the lowest point in the whole table. From carpenter to electrician the medians differ by €450, roughly a quarter of the salary.
Klaipėda offers the most
Pooling all five trades, the city medians line up in an unexpected order. Klaipėda leads with €2,520 (18 active listings) — €473, or nearly a quarter, more than Kaunas and Vilnius (€2,047 each; 23 and 20 listings). The lowest of the thirteen cities is Panevėžys at €1,500, trailing Klaipėda by €1,020, or two thirds.
Klaipėda's lead is not built on one trade. Welders in the port city are offered a median of €3,000 — the highest trade-and-city pairing in the whole set (three active listings, but the median rests on a base of nearly thirty offers; in Kaunas welders are offered €2,441, in Mažeikiai €2,400). Carpenters in Klaipėda are offered a median of €2,352 — €852 more than in Vilnius, where it reaches only €1,500.
For electricians the best offers are outside the big cities altogether: the median reaches €2,454 in Alytus and €2,440 in Šiauliai (three listings each), more than in Vilnius or Klaipėda (€2,300 each; 7 and 10 listings). Kaunas is the most modest of the major cities for electricians, at €2,000. For plumbers and fitters a city comparison is not yet possible: only Vilnius gathers at least three active plumber listings (€1,930), and only Šiauliai does for fitters (€1,800).
A market that does not end at the capital
In Utena (€2,200), Marijampolė (€2,100) and Kaišiadorys (€2,000) the medians for these trades also reach or beat the capital's level, though each holds just three to four listings. Mažeikiai, with ten listings, sits near €1,900. Unlike the analyst market, where offers barely exist outside Vilnius, here a listing with a stated salary can be found in most county centres. For anyone choosing a trade, the table says two things: the differences between the trades themselves are moderate, and the city can matter more than the trade — the gap between Klaipėda and Panevėžys is more than twice the gap between electrician and carpenter.
